What's New: Enhanced Patient Satisfaction Surveys and more!

In our continuous effort to provide the best possible practice management tool for acupuncturists, we've made several key updates to our platform. These updates reflect our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, enhancing user experience, and ensuring our platform remains secure and efficient. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

Enhanced Patient Satisfaction Surveys

In a significant shift towards modernizing our platform, we've begun the transition from our Rails app hosted on Heroku to a more dynamic duo of React for the frontend and Rails on Fly.io. The first step in this journey was to redesign our surveys. Previously built with Bootstrap, the surveys now sport a fresh look thanks to Tailwind, offering a cleaner, more intuitive interface. This redesign not only marks a significant milestone in our technology stack upgrade but also paves the way for a smoother, more responsive user experience across the board.

Enhanced Flexibility in Claims Submission

We understand the complexities involved in submitting claims, especially when it comes to the details of organizational and individual provider EINs & NPIs. To address this, we've introduced the ability to mix and match organizational and individual provider details when submitting claims. This update provides our users with the flexibility they need to manage their billing more efficiently, reducing errors and saving time.

Improved Scheduling Logic

We've also tackled a common frustration in the scheduling process. Previously, disabled providers would appear as options in our scheduling widget, only to result in an error upon submission. We've updated our system to disallow the scheduling of disabled users from the get-go, streamlining the booking process and enhancing the overall user experience.

Staying Ahead with Salesforce API

To ensure uninterrupted service and maintain high standards of data integration, we've updated our Salesforce API above version 30.0, in line with Salesforce's deprecation policy for older APIs. While the technicalities of API versions may not directly concern all our users, this update is crucial for maintaining a seamless data flow and ensuring our platform remains reliable and secure.

Securing Cross-Origin Resource Sharing

As we expand our platform's capabilities, especially with the introduction of React-based surveys, ensuring the security and flexibility of our app's communication across different origins has become paramount. By adding rack-cors, we've fortified our platform against potential security vulnerabilities and streamlined the interaction between our React and Rails applications, ensuring a robust framework for our evolving service offerings.

Looking Ahead

These updates are just the beginning. As we move forward, our focus remains on leveraging the latest technologies to provide a seamless, secure, and efficient platform for acupuncturists. We’re excited about what’s on the horizon and are deeply committed to supporting the growth and success of your practice.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to evolve and enhance our platform to meet your needs.
