What's New: Enhanced SMS Opt-In and Simplified Insurance Enrollment
As always, I'm excited to share our latest product updates. Last month, we focused on ensuring compliance with SMS campaign requirements and refining the insurance enrollment process.
Adding SMS Opt-In to the Intake Process
One significant enhancement is the new SMS Reminder opt-in feature. We've updated the intake process to include clear wording that allows patients to consent to SMS reminders for appointments. Additionally, we've included direct links to our Privacy Policy and Terms to meet the A2P 10DLC Campaign Approval Requirements.
This is a requirement across the industry aimed at minimizing spam, fraud, and unsolicited messages while maintaining SMS as a reliable communication channel in the U.S. All messaging providers handling A2P campaigns must carry out this vetting process.
This improvement allows you to maintain transparent communication with your patients, helping them stay informed about their appointments and promoting a smoother patient experience.
Streamlined Insurance Enrollment by Removing Payment Reports
We've also taken a step to simplify the insurance enrollment process by removing payment reports. These reports were originally part of the insurance enrollment process, but many clients found themselves stuck on this step due to the PTAN number requirement. By eliminating this barrier, we're making it easier for clients to enroll in insurance billing and move forward without unnecessary complications.
This change will ensure a more straightforward experience, reducing friction and making the enrollment process more intuitive.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue enhancing the product. Your feedback is invaluable in guiding these improvements, so thank you for your continued support.
